For your initial post: Two medical students will start their clinical rotations soon. They are arguing whether understanding the concept of health is important for understanding specific diseases and their processes. Take a position yourself: Is it, or is it not, important to first develop an understanding of the concept of health if you are to work in healthcare? What does it mean to be healthy or to be sick? What is the border that separates those two states? Please provide one or two examples to support your case. Also: Somewhere in your initial post, provide a definition for Pathophysiology and define the role of anatomy and physiology in understanding the pathophysiology of diseases. In your responses: Do you agree with your classmates’ positions? Do you disagree? Are there details missing in their explanations, or ones that you would like to add? Please respond to at least two of your classmates. Your first post must be a complete response to the prompt. Subsequent posts will not count as the initial post and will not be graded as such.
